Hi. I'm new here. I've loved John for several years, ever since I caught a 3:00 AM rerun of Three's Company when I was 8. I dunno if anyone has spotted this, but on the new People Magazine with Jennifer Aniston on the cover, there is a small pic of John and Amy to the right. There is about a two and a half page article with some pics inside, if anyone is interested. Quite sad.

Did anybody ever see "Real Men" with John Ritter/Jim Belushi? If John hadn't been in it I wouldn't recommend it but he's REALLY hot in it. Here's a .gif I made of a funny/hot scene. This woman comes down the stairs and just starts making out with John's character, then he just gives in to her and starts kissing her back. The woman he is making out with turns out to be Jim's character's dad who had undergone plastic surgery to become a woman. Rent the movie if you want to see his face after he finds out he was making out with his pal's dad.

Click the link to see it, it will only be up for 30 downloads or 1 week, whichever comes first.

___wakeupmaggie hi, i am new to this community and i have been a fan of john ritter for awhile now he was just an amazing person and had the sweetest personality and he was so funny. it's sad to think that he died one year ago today and he was so young and had so much more time to live, it's such a shame. my cousin and i are going to make a cake today and blow out the candles on it and then let go two balloons in the air just in honor of him and how amazing he was.

well i made a three's company community and most of the talk on there is related to john ritter so i was hoping people will join.

is equal to the love you make"

9:53 pm - Hi...

I just found this community. I was happy to find that there is one. I guess I should do the introduction thing...my name is Tiffany, I'm 22, and I live in Dallas (originally from Illinois). I was always a John Ritter fan. I LOVE Three's Company (of course) and 8 Simple Rules (which, yes, I do still watch even though it's not nearly the same). I even remember when he played Ben's dad on Felicity. He was great in Bad Santa. I saw Problem Child the other day for the first time in a long time. It's a funny movie and I did laugh, but I also got really sad when I thought about how he's not here anymore.

I came home from work one day to have my ex-boyfriend say: "Today is a sad day. Johnny Cash died and so did John Ritter." I thought he was joking. I was like, "Whatever, John Ritter did not die, he's not even old." I completely did NOT believe him. I had to go look it up on Yahoo to believe it. I cried A LOT. I cried everytime I read anything about him and what had happened. It just makes me upset because even though I didn't know him, I know that he was the most honest and real human being there ever could be. He truly seemed to just care about making other people happy, genuinely.

It just sucks.

If anyone wanted to make any icons of John, that would be cool. I would definitely use one. I'd make my own, but I have no idea how...

Anyway, nice to meet you all.

1:22 pm - Hello

Hi everyone, sitting here in the campus library and I stumbled upon this community.

It's very comforting to find so many other people that really loved and appreciated the work John did, and John as a person. And here I thought I was the only one who still wants to just bust out crying when I think about his death.

I made an icon last week some time in a moment of boredom, if you like it please feel free, just don't forget to credit. :)

Also, has anyone else ever seen John's 1992 movie "Stay Tuned"? I reccomend it, it's hilarious. XD

6:03 am - We miss you, John.

Hey. My name is Leslie, I'm 19 years old, and I live right outside of Nashville, Tennessee. I'm so happy to be a new member of this community (I never knew it existed, but I'm so glad I found it) and I hope to make some new friends.

I grew up loving this man because of such talent he had. There were so many other people I could have looked up to as a child, but there was something about him that was just so fun and entertaining. He was such an admirable person, and the world is less enjoyable without him.

The very first time I saw him was in the movie "Problem Child," as Ben Healy (also -- Problem Child 2), and I grew to love him in his role as Jack Tripper on "Three's Company." What other man could you see playing that role to perfection the way that John did? I also loved him in his short-lived role as Ted Buchanan on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, my favorite show. And I definitely can't forget "8 Simple Rules..."

There were so many other movies and television apperances that he took part it, but those are my favorite memories of him.

I'll never forget hearing about John's death and how I felt. My mom didn't even want to tell me that morning because she knew it would upset me. I feel so much sympathy for Amy Yasbeck, his older children, his young daughter, Stella, for she will never know her father but only through the television, books, magazines, and stories.

This world truly lost one beautiful person.
